Henman downs Taylor in battle of serve-and-volleyers
Taylor went out in the first round of Madrid, losing 2-6 4-6 to Tim Henman. The former top-ten-ranked Brit is trying to salvage his 2005. Match stats will be posted if/when they become available.

The sooner Taylor Dent gets rid of his freeloading "friend" Tom Lloyd the better, can't he see that whilst he pays for an all expenses paid world trip he will never be short of these type of friends no matter how long he has known them. Having just watched the Henman/Dent match Henman didn't win it Taylor gave it to him, despite breaking his service speed record and showing the odd flash of brilliance. Taylor is the most under-performing player on the tour and deserves to have some major title wins, he certainly has the skills, but he must be open to advice that is being proffered by independant sources. I feel that at the moment he has nothing but contempt for his long suffering fans and as he is now middle-age in tennis terms he should ditch the likes of Lloyd, get a real coach and listen to him. There are plenty of younger players waiting to take his place.
